Where To Begin

It was another fabulous trip to the desert. I have so much to share that it's difficult to know where to begin. While this may not be the most interesting of details, I'm going to start from the start. The remainder of my trip thoughts in future posts will in no way be chronological, but this seems the most logical place to kickoff the first of my many trip reports.

We arrived around 3pm last Thursday at the luxurious Bellagio. After getting our "free" upgrade (special thanks to frontdesktip.com) and picking up our Love tix, we headed upstairs to get settled in. Immediately, the view took me aback. It was officially "on."

The room itself was very nice, yet forgettable. I suppose though that once you've stayed anywhere, some of the novelty wears off the next time around. Despite the amazing view, the room just doesn't even compare to the suites in say, theHotel at Mandalay Bay. Additionally, I was very critical of several Bellagio amenities/services that I'll share later. Here's another shot of our room prior to receiving the VegasRy Treatment.

Rum and Diet Coke's were the staple of this trip. While planning, we decided they would be the perfect Vegas drink and I must say they treated us well...especially the Captain Morgan bottle at Tryst. VegasRy flew a bottle as well in with him so we made a drink and headed down to mozey our way down to the Mirage for Love which was to begin in a few hours.

Along the way we checked out Bill's. This is the casino formerly known as Barbary Coast. A new classy name for a classy joint. They even have a Fat Elvis who frequently performs in the casino bar.

To the right you'll see him impersonating the legend. I hear he'll marry you as well if you're lucky. All in all, Bill Harrah's new name really defines this place so much better. It's a perfect place for NASCAR weekend.
The Barbary Coast name was no more when we arrived and the following morning it became a Gamblin Hall & Saloon. High five Bill! You're the best and I can hardly wait to see what else you have in store for us. Bringing Toni Braxton to life next door is truly exciting as well. More to come on that one.

In all honesty, this trip was a blast and I'm very anxious to hash it all out. This has been a bit unorganized as my mind is a cluttered collage of what transpired. Brace yourself as we piece it together for a functional yet hopefully humorous and entertaining ride through VegasRy's weekend.
Sorry for the awful formatting of this post. It's been a struggle and I'll try and correct it tomorrow.
