Ads on hotels. These range from the relatively harmless LOVE ad on the top quarter of the Mirage...... to the godawful 18-story Toni Braxton (really? Toni Braxton?) on the Flamingo.
This is a slippery slope, as evidently most hotels were covered with NBA related advertisements during the All-Star weekend (as if that event wasn't terrible enough). We can see a point in the future where the hotels in Las Vegas look like a Nascar driver's uniform. It's our belief that hotels should NOT be billboards, that's why every hotel has a giant marquee.
What's next, they try and brand the Bellagio Fountains? Wait, they already have...
Please, we love the strip the way it is, don't turn it into Times Square or Downtown Tokyo.
