Vegas: Made For Reality TV?

Ever since Trishelle and MTV gave us the Real World: Las Vegas, it became clear to me that almost any show set in Vegas had a shot at succeeding. It's a captivating setting that can make stars out of every day people. Having said that, E premiered a new show under a Seacrest production company called Paradise City last night. E says it "...offers a firsthand look at what it's like to live, love and work in Las Vegas."

The show follows 13 castmembers who all have their own individual dreams that they are purusing in Vegas. It would appear the show has a bit of a daunting task in terms of character development but, I'll save my objective reviews until the show has set everything up in more detail. I caught only the second half of the premier but will get caught up and begin a running review.

One character though, stood out as one of the true leads of the show. Rick DeJesus is the lead singer of a band called Adelita's Way and is set on becoming a star. Rick is no stranger to reality tv. He was a cast member of VH1's Strip Search and won his way on to the male entertainment troop American Storm in Las Vegas. He looks to be a defining character on Paradise City so keep an eye on him.

Stay tuned for more on this show in the near future.

Seriously, first Rob and Amber and now this re-re? We actually have people that have been on MULTIPLE reality shows...doesn't get more real than that.
