Front Desk Tip is a great site that is dedicated to tracking the results of the "20 Dollar Trick" while checking into Las Vegas Hotels.For the uninitiated, the $20 trick is slipping the clerk at the check-in desk a 20 dollar bill as a tip in hopes of obtaining a free upgrade to a better room, suite, etc. This site provides visitor's results and comments, as well as the success/fail percentage, by hotel.
For example, the Bellagio (Our home for our trip next week) has a perfect (11/11) success percentage. Hopefully it will be 12/12 after next weekend!
