Value in Vegas?

Warren Buffet would say there is no value in Vegas and for the most part I wholeheartedly agree. Some will strike it rich, but so many will lose much much more trying to beat the casino's edge. Additionally, there is no question there isn't value in anything you can buy as everything is supremely overpriced. Everything I should say, except one of my favorite Vegas pasttimes.

For a mere $7 you can have your shoes shined at Mandalay Bay. I first met Rose there about five years ago when I was staying there and she shined my shoes. Ever since I've tried to make it back to see her because she does a great job and it's just part of how you're supposed to roll in Vegas. Classiness reigns supreme. I learned this past weekend though, that she's moved on to work at the airport now, but a much younger and cuter Cooper will take care of you nonetheless. I'd say the value has appreciated since Rose was relieved while the price has remained steady.

I wouldn't say the V in Vegas stands for value, but there are some golden nuggets to be found...even in the most obscure of places.
